Every day let's make God smile.

Kim Henry

For years I’ve tried to be the person God wants me to be, the person I absolutely want to be for God. Yet too often I’ve spoken without thinking first, been reactive, ruled by emotions, lacked joy though rolling in blessings, lost patience, thought of my needs before those of others, and more. God wants us to be people of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control. Those qualities can be the result, the Fruit, of His Spirit living in us. (Galatians 5:22,23). Though I’ve finally accepted I’ll never get it completely right, I want to be my best for His glory. I’ve set a lifetime goal of living the Fruit of the Spirit more consistently.

My hope is that my writing will make a difference in your life, that it will open your eyes and heart to God, and help you be more aware of your actions, your words, and the importance of every minute.  I pray it will bring you the joy of becoming your best for His glory!
